IMPACT360 reunion

The weekend after our final Chick-fil-A interview was the IMPACT360 alumni reunion. As the program grows, we love to meet the newest alumni and catch up with staff and  those from our classes (2007-08, 2008-09). It was neat to see how God is using the students across the globe to expand His kingdom. For example, Morgan, the gal on the left in the picture just arrived in India to work with Freedom Firm who seeks to free women and girls from commercial sex trade.

Vera made many new friends including Amelia, who is just a few months younger than Vera. It was pretty difficult to get two almost-one-and-a-half-year -olds to sit still together, but we manage to get a picture of them. As we keep coming back for reunions, it will be neat to see how they grow each year.

The closing ceremony on Sunday morning was held outside in front of the student center. The whole campus is beautiful, but I’ve always loved the big oak tree here.

It was here that we held our rehearsal dinner under a tent. The campus holds many memories for us… where we experienced so much personal growth and, not to mention, where we fell in love! (read our story here)

After a challenge from the director, John Basie, we said our goodbyes and headed off to Columbus, Georgia, where Brian and I had planned an overnight getaway!
