Cocoa and constellations

the library's reading cottage

The local library is quite a gem — a gas fireplace, comfy chairs, and a children’s reading cottage that’s just Vera’s size. (However, she’s more into watching the other children than reading the books!)

We attended a special event the other night called “Cocoa and constellations” — 3 high powered telescopes were set up outside the library. We were able to see the orion’s belt nebula,  some moon craters, and the planet jupiter. I was amazed to learn one of the telescopes was homemade – what skill and concentration that must have required!

Vera, all bundled up with Daddy
