revamping a thrift-store find

I do love a good thrift store find, and occasionally have a creative vision for a lifeless clothing item. Such was the case for this size 18 top I found buried in the skirt section.

For a few bucks spent on ribbon, I made the top a better fit and added some color. (And all without a sewing machine!) I also shortened the straps by moving the buttons higher on the strap (hidden behind the front flap).

Here’s the finished product!
