Kiosco Columbian restaurant

Wing N Rock Fest

We love living in Marietta, especially with easy access to the Square. It seems their is always something going on — Farmer’s Market, artwalk, concerts, festivals, etc… Today was the Wing N Rock Fest. (Quite a different crowd than the Decatur Arts Festival!) We listened to a few bands and sampled from some of the booths, but our primary reason for coming to the square was for lunch.

There are so many restaurants we’ve been wanting to try, including Kiosco. It’s a small, intimate dining room with a charismatic owner. I ordered the special, 2 empanadas and a tamale, and Brian ordered the Carne Asada (grilled steak served with sweet plantains and avocado — and they did not disappoint! The garbanzo bean salad was also a hit.

Since it is the kind of place you could easily pass by, we’re glad to have discovered it.

We’ll definitely be back!
