Christmas music you can’t not listen to

As promised, we have short list of some of our favorite Christmas music.

– Our hands-down favorite: Sufjan Stevens. His multivolume album is perfect for long Christmas road trips!  While he has only released five albums to the public, he records a selection each year for friends and family–we heard through Grant Kersey that the eighth volume leaked last year (!).

– GT and Halo Express. It’s my childhood favorite. All songs are pure Scripture.

– Vince Guaraldi’s Charlie Brown Christmas. I’ll just leave this out there, but can Christmas truly be celebrated sans Snoopy???

– The Messiah, Hallelujah chorus by the London Philharmonic Choir. Get it on itunes! Magnificent.

– Relient K’s “Deck the Hall, Bruise your Hand” which has been rereleased at least twice under probably a dozen different names.

– For the dramatic, the Transiberian Orchestra.
